Our Journey
From a small shophouse to Bangkok's most-loved language school.
BangkokLingua Founded
Started as a small Thai-for-foreigners school in a cozy Sukhumvit shophouse with just 2 instructors.
ED Visa Sponsor Approved
Officially approved by the Thai Ministry of Education as an ED visa sponsor, opening doors for international students.
Expanded to 4 Languages
Added Japanese, Chinese, and English programs due to growing demand from the expat community.
Moved to New Campus
Relocated to our beautiful 3-story campus near BTS Phrom Phong with 8 modern classrooms.
Online Classes Launched
Adapted quickly to offer hybrid learning, keeping students connected throughout the pandemic.
Korean & French Added
Expanded to 6 languages, responding to the K-wave and growing Francophone community in Bangkok.

Kanya Suwannaphat

Thai Language Director
Born and raised in Bangkok, Kanya has been teaching Thai to foreigners for over 12 years. She specializes in making tones accessible to speakers of non-tonal languages and has developed our signature 'Tone by Color' teaching method.
James Mitchell
English Program Lead
Originally from London, James has lived in Bangkok for 8 years and holds a CELTA certification. He specializes in Business English and exam preparation (IELTS, TOEFL). His interactive teaching style makes even grammar fun.

Yuki moved to Bangkok from Osaka 5 years ago and brings her infectious enthusiasm for Japanese culture into every lesson. She uses manga, anime, and J-pop to make learning Japanese engaging and memorable.

From Beijing, Wei has taught Mandarin across Southeast Asia for over 7 years. He's known for his patient teaching style and creative use of Chinese movies and songs in lessons. HSK exam preparation specialist.

Soo-jin from Seoul combines her love of K-culture with structured Korean teaching. Her classes feature K-drama clips, K-pop lyrics analysis, and Korean cooking vocabulary. TOPIK preparation expert.

Parisian Pierre brings the language of love to Bangkok. With 10 years of teaching experience across Asia, he makes French approachable with his humor and cultural storytelling. DELF exam preparation available.
